Creative Retail Works does business as SignageWorks. This policy explains what we collect through signageworks.com, why we collect it, and who else handles it. It covers our website and the two forms on it. It is written to describe what our systems actually do.
What you give us
If you join our email list for the $100 offer, we ask for:
- your first and last name
- your company name
- your job title
- your email address
- your role in signage decisions
- your phone number — this one is optional, and the form works without it
If you use the 2027 Budget Planner, we ask for:
- your name and your email address
- your phone number, again optional
- the property name and address you are budgeting for
- the management company, where you tell us
- the kind of project and when you need it
- the signs and quantities you are budgeting for
- anything you type into the notes field
You do not need an account for either, and we do not ask you to create one.
What we collect automatically
When you submit either form we also record how you arrived:
- the address of the page you submitted from
- the address of the page that referred you to us, if there was one
- campaign tags in the link you followed (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content,utm_term)
Your browser holds those campaign tags for us in its session storage, under keys beginning sw_, so that they survive your moving from one page of ours to another. Your browser clears them when you close the tab.
Our website runs on Shopify. Shopify may set cookies and collect technical information as part of hosting and operating the site. Shopify handles that information under its own privacy terms.
Our pages load a typeface from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address.
Why we use it
- To send you the $100 offer you asked for, and to make sure you only receive one credit for your email address.
- To prepare and email your budget estimate when you use the Budget Planner, and to send ourselves a copy so we can follow it up.
- To reply to you and continue the conversation about your signage.
- To send you marketing email — updates, new tools and offers — but only if you joined the email list through the $100 form. Asking for a budget estimate does not add you to that list.
- To understand which campaigns bring people to us, which is what the arrival information above is for.
Who else handles it
We use these companies to run the service. They receive your information so they can do those jobs for us:

These are the main service providers we currently use to operate the website, process form submissions, send communications and manage enquiries.
Your information travels to us over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Marketing email, and how to stop it
Every marketing email we send gives you a way to stop it — an unsubscribe link, or an address to write to. You can also email hello@signageworks.com at any time and ask to be taken off the list, and we will remove you.
Stopping marketing email does not stop us replying to an enquiry you have made.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, work with customers and support the purposes described in this policy. We do not currently use one fixed deletion schedule for all records.
If you would like us to remove information we hold about you, email hello@signageworks.com. We will review the request and remove information from our active enquiry and marketing records where reasonably possible.
Asking us about your information
Email hello@signageworks.com if you would like to:
- see what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to remove information we hold about you
- stop receiving marketing email
Please tell us the email address you used on the form, so we can find the right record.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your information. If you would like to make a request on that basis, write to us at the same address and tell us what you are asking for.
Children
Our website and our forms are meant for people enquiring on behalf of a business. They are not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
